After 4+ amazing years of running a startup, I’m excited to pursue a new leadership opportunity by joining Canonical, the makers of the Ubuntu Linux operating system (and many other products), as their new Global Vice President of Support Engineering.
What’s happening with Our.News? It will continue in very good hands of new leadership while I undertake my next journey. I am excited to see the team continue the mission.
This will be an exciting challenge for me. It’s a familiar role as Pantek, my first major startup, which provided enterprise Linux Support and Managed services — but on a larger scale. I’ll be overseeing their 24/7 global support business, directly reporting and working with CEO, Mark Shuttleworth, and some of the best and brightest minds in open source software.
